Cookie Policy
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to recognise your device, save your preferences, and collect information about your browsing behaviour.
2. Types of Cookies Used

3. Consent Management and Withdrawal
When the website uses non-essential cookies (analytical or marketing), the user's consent is obtained through a cookie management tool displayed upon the first visit to the website. The user must actively select the categories they accept — silence, inaction, pre-ticked boxes, or mere continuation of browsing do not constitute valid consent.
Consent is granular: the user may accept or refuse each category of cookies independently.
Consent is freely given: access to the website's content is not conditional upon acceptance of non-essential cookies.
The user may manage their cookie preferences at any time by clicking on "Manage cookie preferences" in the website footer. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with the same ease with which it was given, without any detriment to the user. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.
Cookies may also be disabled directly through browser settings. However, disabling essential cookies may affect the functioning of the website.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party providers (e.g. Google Analytics, payment platforms). Those providers have their own privacy policies, which the user may consult on their respective websites. Pedro Sacadura does not control third-party cookies but ensures that they are only activated following the user's consent, where required by law.
